Rangers will rely in running of Lukich

Wallkill Valley will rely on the running of Kevin Lukich (5-10, 205) who became the first Ranger to surpass the 1,000 plateau in rushing in a season. Lukich toted the pigskin 209 times, churning out a school-record 1,375 yards while scoring 13 touchdowns.He will get the ball from first-year quarterback Mike Murphy who started at nose tackle as a junior. The other running backs are Kyle Nyhis, John Savasta and Ryan Spirito while Alex Russinko (6-3, 225) is an imposing target at tight end with Mike Castiglione the primary target from the wide receiver slots. Chris DiPietri (5-5, 160) anchors the offensive front wall at center and is flanked by guards Ryan Nann (5-11, 225) and Jason Schoonover (5-10, 175) while John Asbury (6-0, 220) and Mike Elmucci (5-10, 210) will line up at the tackle slots.
