Jefferson's Mike Leach (1992-94) is tops in career receptions (82) and yardage (1496) while his Falcon teammate Keith Johnson (1993) holds the single-season recorfd for TD passes (18).

2001 SCIL Standings

High Point and Pope John tied for the 2001 SCIL gridiron title, posting 8-1 records during the regular season. It was the first-ever title for the Wildcats while it was the 14th time hat Pope John has won or shared the championship. Pope John annexed the NJSIAA Parochial B title by defeating Paterson Catholic 13-12 in the championship game. Green Terror junior quarterback Jamie "Boo" Harris and Mules' junior wide receiver Joshua Carter were named the Offensive Players of the Year. Western Maryland senior defensive end Aaron Bartolain was selected as the Defensive Player of the Year.
