Pope John is ranked No. 9 in the initial newjerseyfootball.org state-wide poll. In Sparta, Pope John totally dominated a very good Hopatcong squad, blanking the Chiefs 31-0 while holding Joe Martinek to 80 yards rushing on 21 carries.
